Ankaase Methodist Faith Healing HospitalIn 1990, J.K. Manuh, a Ghanaian from the village of Ankaase, Ghana decided to build a hospital in his hometown in order to meet the dire need for medical care. He asked the Methodist Church Ghana for help, along with The Mission Society. Today, the Ankaase Methodist Faith Healing Hospital is a model facility and provides medical care for the more than 10,000 residents in the immediate area and for those in surrounding towns and villages. It serves as a catalyst for the transformation of lives through ministry to the physical and spiritual needs of patients. Dr. Cameron Gongwer, a missionary-doctor from Indiana, and Ghanaian doctors work as a team to meet the needs of the residents of their community.
