Water Well Project

The Bakers began the Paraguay Water Well Project, drilling and installing water wells at churches, church camps, and other locations where the gift of abundant, clean water can be used as a vehicle to share the gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In most of the locations where wells are drilled, the only access to water in the area is a hand dug well. In many places clothes are washed in the nearest stream. The Bakers work with local pastors and usually drill wells at their churches. In addition to the wells, they usually construct sanitation facilities such as bathrooms and clothes washing stations for use by the pastor’s family and the congregation. This ministry is fully supported by donations by churches, companies and individuals.
