Growing Disciples in Christ Through Practical Relationships. Jim & Barbara work as Global Mission Mobilizers with the Mission Society in the area of Teaching English as a Second Language (ESL). Our method is through the use of computers and the Project Light Bible-based software to empower believers to develop their role in ministry while they teach English. Project Light encompasses personal tutoring in which the tutor facilitates the lessons. Through the establishment of personal relationships, both the tutor and student grow in their faith. Our goal is to assist missionaries and churches across the USA and worldwide to set up English as a Second Language Bible Based Learning Centers where the English language and the use of computers become "tools" for global evangelism. A person desiring to be a Project Light ESL tutor does not need to be a "trained educator", because we provide all the necessary training. The only requirements are the ability to speak and read English fluently, a love of our Lord, Jesus Christ, and a desire to build relationships with other people.

Jim also brings special talents in the areas of building construction, home repairs, and leading short-term mission teams.
