46 missionaries gather for training in Brazil

The Mission Society is hosting a training event for missionaries from several nations (including the United States, Brazil, Mexico, and Cuba) in Teresopolis/Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Lead by The Mission Society’s vice president of mission education and resident missiologist, Darrell Whiteman, various instructors from the States, Brazil, and Mission Society staff members will participate in training the new cross-cultural workers. The training event lasts 15 days and covers topics such as Mission Team Dynamics, Marriage & Family Dynamics in Mission, Relational Evangelism, Discipleship, Spiritual Warfare, Small Group Ministry, Cross-Cultural Challenges, World Religions, and Mission and the Church. The missionaries will then continue raising funds until they depart for their field of service.
